I am a new media journalist based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been writing for Internet audiences since 1992.

As an experienced career counselor, human resource manager and business executive I have found a variety of venues online to share my expertise.

From 1997 to 2001, I was the Senior Writer of The Job Market Report, an online publication dedicated to educating Internet users of proactive use of technology in career development.

I was the editorial voice for two years at MyJobSearch.com and CareerWebSource.com, through whom my career related articles have appeared on hundreds of web sites serving the online job seeker.

For several years I have hosted career chat online and have provided professional resume critiques for my online readers.

In the real world, I possess over 25 years experience as a hiring manager, human resource professional and business manager working for Eastman Kodak, Ritz Cameras, Longs Drug Stores and most recently with See’s Candies. As an experienced retailer, I possess outstanding coaching abilities and exceptional motivational skills.

I also freelance on topics ranging from business to parenting. In my spare time, I operate Merry Network LLC, a family of more than 30 websites inclusive of My Merry Christmas.com — a delightful holiday effort featuring writers, designers, programmers and artists from around the world.

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my wife Sandy and our seven children. When not pursuing my passion for the Internet, I love to study history, to engage in all things baseball, to argue about politics and to discuss my children.
